Phyllostachys aurea - ID#00006
Phyllostachys aurea or Golden Bamboo is an aggressive spreading bamboo. Since it can grow in red clay soils I choose this species to prevent further erosion of a certain part of the farm. We started planting near the top of the hill and will grow many more if this initial experiment succeeds.
